The Chicago Art Institute

After the boat ride, we went to lunch at an exclusive private club, The Cliff Dwellers, developed by writers, artists, musicians and special friends to congregate and share in serene surroundings with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and the parks along Lake Shore Drive.
After the special lunch, we walked across the street to the Art Institute for a session with an art expert, Joe, who had been with us on Monday. The Institute is home to many famous paintings, photos and sculptures by artists around the world. It is also a prestigious school for artists.
We were impressed by the substantial collection of French Impressionists.
This is a place to come back to over and over. The layout is very 'looker' friendly and each piece is given the space required so viewers can appreciate the masterpieces.
